San Francisco City Hall is a magical place that is always humming during business hours with the people’s work. It also has a continuous flow of tourists soaking in all of it’s architectural grandiosity, with an added spark of lovers eloping or having small weddings with friends and family. It’s a beautiful energy. Had a lovely time with Mais and Ashley as they got the full City Hall wedding treatment with these fun and adorable portraits, a great judge that added depth and wisdom to the ceremony, with their best friends at their side. Adding to this singular happening was a group of sightseers, straight off of the tour bus, gazing and adding their love and encouragement to the newly weds. It was amazing. Check it out.

Martina, Geoff, Sunny the Pug, and I had a fun and fog filled engagement session at Fort Funston in the southwest corner of San Francisco. The day was a quintessential San Francisco day, cool yet comfortable, and the fog gave us it’s magical embrace at ground level. We chatted, hiked, chased Sunny, and watched hand gliders float over us, and generally had a nice time taking photos together. Enjoy the cuteness.

Natalie and Ben are two savants that found each other at an early age. They are really sweet together and super cerebral on a wide range of disciplines. For instance during our engagement session I was able to see their relationship and minds work in playful, as well as intellectual ways. They both work in math and science based fields, but can easily go in-depth on plant anatomy and then seamlessly shift into politics at a high level. They will poke fun and laugh at another’s infinitesimally small neglected detail on a concept. Super cute. Anyway, their wedding was a perfect combination of their personalities and the fusion of traditional jewish wedding customs with the modern world. At one point there was a wedding shtick where guests entertained and bemused the bride and groom with stunts, tricks and performances. What!? It was fun and lots of smiles were to be found. Enjoy.

Make It Mariko organized the event production of this colorful Trevor Project fundraiser at Twitter HQ in San Francisco for the cause of LGBTQ youth suicide prevention. World renown drag performer Honey Mahogany emceed the event and awesome performances were held by Golden Gate Men’s Choir, Jessica Childress, and DJ Philip Grasso.

The inspiration and spirit was provided by Grammy nominated Ciaran Gribbin of Rock and Roll Team Building, violinist Kai Kight and speaker Donny Nefuss. Next door at Curio sustenance of food and drink were supplied. This special environment and thoughtful edutainment set the stage for a day of laid-back networking and music making.

Jess and Nico had a larger wedding a couple months earlier in Panama, but were officially married in San Francisco. Jess’s grandparents weren’t able to make it down to Panama, but were able to see her off, along with some close friends, in a lovely celebration at City Hall. Grandpa was the officiant adding much sweetness, as well as gravity and wisdom from a man who’s been married for more than fifty years. It just one of those weddings surrounded by a feeling of warmth and smiles.

ATLASSIAN | SAN FRANCISCO TEAM BUILDING | ORACLE PARK EVENT
Atlassian had an epic team building event with a scavenger hunt throughout the Fisherman’s Wharf and North Beach neighborhoods of San Francisco. After all of the shenanigans were over with the hunt, we headed to the ballpark where the San Francisco Giants mascot, Louie the Seal, greeted us with spirit. DJ Trevor Williams rocked the party with tunes and his super capable turntablism. Everyone was served classic ballpark fare from hot dogs to peanuts and washed away the day with their beverage of choice chilling on the ballpark seats overlooking the beautiful Bay high above on the Virgin America Club Level.

Carrie and Aaron love experiencing the outdoors and have adventured all over the world together exploring epic back country. They chose Stinson Beach as the place to bring together some of their special people to celebrate in the midst of its natural world beauty and dynamic environment. Banks of fog rolled in periodically adding atmosphere throughout the day, but it was all sunshine during the ceremony. After the wedding and portraits above the beach along a ridge, we headed off to the Stinson Beach Community Center for the rest of the festivities. A beautiful day.
